Store Purchases | How to Return & Exchange
Customers may request an exchange for items purchased at any UNIQLO store at all branches nationwide.
For product returns, items may only be returned to the store where the original payment was made, and must be returned within 30 days.
The 30‑day period is counted from the date shown on the receipt.
For example, if the purchase was made on 15 August, that date is considered Day 1.
Therefore, the item may be exchanged or returned until 13 September.”

1. Verify that the item is eligible for exchange or return.

2. Present the original receipt and required documents for exchange/return.
2.1- Present the original receipt for the purchased item you wish to exchange or return.
[Exchange/return cannot be processed using purchase history, credit card or debit card payment slips, or tax invoices.]
- In the case of a Gift Receipt, A gift receipt can be used for product exchanges; however, for returns, the original receipt must be presented together with the gift receipt.
2.2 For payments made by credit card or debit card: Please present the credit or debit card used for payment, as indicated on the original receipt, to the staff for refund processing.
2.3 For electronic payments / QR code: Please bring proof of payment to support the return process.
Credit card or Debit Card Payments:
Refunds will be credited back to the original card. The time for the refund to appear depends on the issuing bank.
Electronic Payments/QR Code: Refunds will be issued in cash immediately upon successful return processing.

Q. I lost my receipt. Can I exchange/return items using other documents?
A. Unfortunately, we cannot process exchanges or returns without the original receipt. Purchase history, payment slips, or tax invoices cannot be accepted.

Q. What if the item I want to exchange is out of stock or I want a different item?
A. You may exchange your item for another item of equal or higher value by paying the price difference. However, we’re sorry that we’re unable to process an exchange for items priced lower than your original purchase.

Q. How can I exchange for special sizes [XS, XXL, 3XL]?
A. Please return the item at the store where you purchased it and place a new order through our online store (special sizes are available online only).

Q. I cannot visit a store. Can I exchange by mail?
A. We regret that we do not currently offer exchange services by mail.

Q. Can someone else exchange the item on my behalf?
A. Yes, exchanges can be made by anyone; it does not have to be the original purchaser.

Q. How do I exchange items purchased with discount coupons or promotional gifts?
A. Items purchased with discount coupons or promotional gifts cannot be refunded, but you may exchange them at any UNIQLO store nationwide (subject to stock availability).
