Q. Online Orders | How to Exchange

Customers may exchange items purchased from the UNIQLO online store at any UNIQLO physical stores within 30 days. The 30-day period is counted since the “Receipt Date” [shown at the top right corner of the receipt].  
For example, if you purchased an item on August 15, that date will be counted as Day 1. Therefore, the item can be exchanged by September 13.

Verify the Product and Required Documentation

1. Verify that the item is eligible for exchange or return.

Items must be in original condition and meet the exchange requirements.

2. Present the original receipt and required documents for exchange or return.

The original receipt that was sent with the product.
[Exchange/return cannot be processed using purchase history, credit card or debit card payment slips, or tax invoices.]

- For payments made via “Pay In Store,” you must present the payment receipt from store together with the original receipt that shipped with the package.

- In the case of a Gift Receipt, you may use the Gift Receipt for an exchange without presenting the receipt showing the product price. 

 

FAQs Regarding Exchange or Return of Products Purchased at Physical Stores
 
  • Q. I lost my receipt. Can I exchange/return items using other documents? 

    A. Unfortunately, we cannot process exchanges or returns without the original receipt. Purchase history, payment slips, or tax invoices cannot be accepted.

  • Q. What if the item I want to exchange is out of stock or I want a different item? 

    A.  You may exchange your item for another item of equal or higher value by paying the price difference. However, we’re sorry that we’re unable to process an exchange for items priced lower than your original purchase.

  • Q.  How can I exchange for special sizes [XS, XXL, 3XL]?

    A.  Please return the item at the store where you purchased it and place a new order through our online store (special sizes are available online only). 

  • Q. I cannot visit a store. Can I exchange by mail?

    A.  We regret that we do not currently offer exchange services by mail.

  • Q. Can someone else exchange the item on my behalf?

    A.  Yes, exchanges can be made by anyone; it does not have to be the original purchaser.

  • Q. How do I exchange items purchased with discount coupons or novelty?  

    A.  Items purchased with discount coupons or novelty cannot be refunded, but you may exchange them at any UNIQLO store nationwide (subject to stock availability).
